In the circle of life, every Mufasa has his Simba. One day in the not-too-distant-future, the MMA world could be taken over by the sons and daughters of current combatants. We’ve already got Ryan Couture, the Gracie family has been poppin’ out warriors for generations, and now we have Kevin Ferguson Jr.: Baby Slice.
MMA Fighting’s Chuck Mindenhall was there at Baby Slice’s debut which took place at a Polynesian hut in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Now, we have a video of the fight to match the atmosphere Mindenhall conjured with his prose.
As Ferguson Jr. dips in-and-out while throwing crisp bombs, it’s not hard to tell that this could be Kimbo Slice’s son. Baby Slice marched forward with constant aggression and overwhelmed Tom Brink in the first round with a KO that sent Brink flopping like Ric Flair.
