Kimbo Slice vs. Wakakirin has officially been booked for February 5th in Japan

Ask any MMA fan, The night Seth Petruzelli knocked out Kimbo Slice in 2008, everyone remembers where they were. It was like the MMA world’s version of the JFK assassination. I was on the floor of my North Dallas apartment that doubled as a habitat for every type of roach on the face of North America. I used to catch them and stick them on a piece of paper so that I could catalog the various species I would find rummaging through my box of Cap N’ Crunch on a Friday night. When Kimbo Slice was knocked out in EliteXC, I’m sure everyone of those roaches felt it in their little insect hearts.

After Kimbo Slice was cut from the UFC this past year following his loss to Matt Mitrione, Mr. Slice has gone on a voyage of infiltrating rooms full of Asian chicks, kicking it with severed heads of Goro from Mortal Kombat, killing rats in his house, and even BBQing for his friends while rocking a black fedora. Now Kimbo Slice can add Japanese professional wrestling to his ever-expanding resume according to a report from FightOpinion.com.

Kimbo Slice has officially been booked for the IGF 8-man title tournament which will include Josh Barnett and sumo wrestler Wakakirin. Kimbo will take on Wakakirin on February 5th 2010 in a card that will also feature the original Tiger Mask. It’s nice to know that Kimbo Slice is still ‘getting his bread’, however bizarre the scenario may be. [Source]
