Current UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib To Mcgregor: “There Can Be Only One king In The Jungle.”

Earlier on Tuesday morning Conor Mcgregor took to Twitter and announced his retirement from sports of MMA. Even UFC president Dana White also supports his decision to leave the UFC.

Maybe that record-breaking proper No. 12 whiskey sales have something to do with it. He’s partnered with David August to launch his clothing line name August Mcgregor. Even at one time, Dana White said his Irish Whiskey is going to make him Billionaire.

Even last week Irishman revealed he’s in negotiations with the UFC for a summer return. Many people are speculating that this could be all part of a negotiation tactic.

After hearing the news of Mcgregor’s retirement current UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov chimed in and said the following words.

There can be only one king in the jungle.

In the leading up to the UFC 229 PPV event, Mcgregor insults Khabib and his family. This played a huge role in the post-fight brawl that resulted in the suspension of both UFC fighters.

‘Eagle’ retain his 155-pound title after submitting Conor Mcgregor in the fourth round at UFC 229 last October.

Since then Irishman has been linked to many fights; however, his targeted goal is to get a rematch with Khabib.

A former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey also took to Twitter and reacted to Mcgregor’s retirement. (h/t MMAFighting)

“It’s a creative way to retire and it was a cryptic way to retire,” Rousey said on SportsCenter on Tuesday. “We will see how permanent it is. If he wants to retire forever, he’s more than earned it. Like I said, I’m ready to buy the second round.”

Do you think this time Mcgregor is serious about retirement? Afterall he has a lot to do outside the Octagon.
