Khabib Nurmagomedov Threatens To Destroy Conor McGregor

There were speculations after Nurmagomedov’s victory over Al Iaquinta and winning UFC Lightweight belt at UFC 223 that his first rival in the title defense is going to be Conor McGregor. These two have a long beef history, both on social networks and face to face. After all, Khabib Nurmagomedov is the main guilt for Conor’s hooligan bus attack.

Despite the arrangement for the fight is not signed yet, it looks like a Dagestani superstar is currently sick of The Notorious and his trolling. The Eagle has been pretty much vocal about his interest in facing off against Irish superstar. (via bloodyelbow.com)

”I do not yet know who my opponent will be,” Nurmagomedov told sport24.ru. “The fight will likely take place in Las Vegas. I want to fight McGregor; the fans are also waiting for this fight. I hope that Conor wants this fight. He talked a lot but for some reason, as soon as it came down to real negotiations about the fight, he fell silent.”

Conor McGregor hasn’t fought since his UFC 205 victory over Eddie Alvarez in 2016. He has only made his professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather Jr., where he was defeated in the tenth round via TKO. But one thing is certain – The Notorious gets tremendous media attention in every aspect of his life despite he isn’t fighting.

Currently, his team is thinking of offering a plea deal where Conor could help the New York inner city youth. After being released on bail, Conor started to show his Dr. Jekkyl side a bit more… but it is questionable when could he turn into Mr. Hide.

It is currently unknown whether the fight between these two superstars will take place. There were rumors that title bout should be held at the main event of UFC 229. Khabib Nurmagomedov believes he will finish The Notorious before the end of five rounds.

“In what round will I be able to knock McGregor out? I do not know, and no one can know this. I’m going to destroy him.”

We could expect an answer from The Notorious pretty soon. What do you think, is Conor McGregor again going to use Twitter against Khabib Nurmagomedov?
