Khabib Nurmagomedov Says Conor McGregor ‘Has Only One Chance, A Lucky Punch’

Khabib Nurmagomedov Wants To Smash Conor Mcgregor Inside The Octagon

Despite being the superstar of MMA, won two division titles, the most feared striker, Conor McGregor who’s returning to Octagon after two years of absence as an underdog against lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. Undeafeted Russian says Irishman has only one chance against him to throw a ‘one lucky punch.’

Mcgregor last fought inside the octagon at UFC 205 where he picked up a knockout victory over Eddie Alvarez and win a UFC lightweight championship that saw him becoming a first fighter in the history of UFC to hold titles in two divisions simultaneously.

Several UFC fighters bet on Khabib that he’ll beat Conor Mcgregor including Dustin Poirier, Georges St-Pierre, and former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum.

If you see the pair’s fight style, Khabib is the most dominant wrestler in the MMA right now, pummel all his opponents and remain undefeated, while McGregor is the top class striker, with lethal left hand, dangerous kicks, knees, and elbow. Many underestimated Mcgregor in the past against elite wrestlers, and he proved his doubters wrong by beating Chad Mendes and Nate Diaz in the rematch but lost to Diaz via submission at UFC 196 in their first meeting.

In the recent video, a supremely confident Khabib Nurmagomedov shoot down Mcgregor’s chances of winning at UFC 229.

During the promotion of his fight against Mcgregor, ‘The Eagle’ said his goal is to smash Irishman and make him quit.

“My dream is to smash this guy,” Nurmagomedov continued. “My dream is to make this guy chicken inside the cage.”

If Mcgregor becomes lucky to land his famous left hand on Khabib, the game could be on his side, but if Khabib successfully takes Mcgregor on the ground, then tables turn toward Russian. We can find all the answers at UFC 229 which is set to take place on October 6 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Who are you putting your bet at, Mcgregor or Khabib?
