Khabib Nurmagomedov mocks Conor McGregor

I mean what can Conor McGregor really say? There is being humble in victory then there is Khabib Nurmagomedov still dunking on McGregor many months later.

Act like you been there before? Or roast your rivalry some more? The thing is nobody has ever been there before when it comes to UFC 229. UFC 229 ended with a massive brawl between the biggest star of the sport. How do we react to that? What map is everyone supposed to follow after the sport as whole almost died?

Not really, but for a solid 48 hours acted like the UFC 229 brawl would be the death of MMA. LOL the death? We’re just getting started.

At UFC 229 Khabib Nurmagomedov broke kayfabe. Conor McGregor thought he was just promoting a fight while Khabib took mental notes of every single slight thrown in his direction. Would it surprise anyone if Khabib had his bedroom covered in sticky notes with Mac’s shit talked scribbled on them.

Khabib is that kind of dude.

MMA isn’t a game to the current best lightweight in the world. In part, this is why Khabib is good at his job. His wrestling, sambo, power and cage IQ doesn’t hurt either.

With a mind boggling 13 million Instagram followers and counting, Khabib is a bigger star thanks to his actions at UFC 229. A lot of hardcore and causal fans didn’t like Mystic Mac to begin with and the UFC 229 brawl was just another reason to root for somebody other than the Irishman.

To further hang on the rim with his balls on Mac’s forehead, Khabib rounded up his gang from the UFC 229 brawl for a photo op. Not only did the UFC champion take a picture, he used McGregor’s own catchphrase against him.

Nurmagomedov-2, McGregor-0?
