Khabib Nurmagomedov has settled up with the Russian Federal Tax Service.
Earlier this year, the UFC Hall of Famer found himself in some hot water after his bank accounts and fleet of luxury cars were seized amid reports that he owed his home country $3.4 million in back taxes.
Per a report from Telegram channel SHOT, Nurmagomedov recently cut a check to clear his debt with the RFTS.
So for anyone thinking a UFC comeback was in the cards for the former lightweight world champion, you might wanna go ahead and reholster your hopes.
🚨 Khabib Nurmagomedov has reportedly paid off all debts to the Russian Federal Tax Service (FTS), totaling 302 million rubles ($3,398,000 USD)

Unfortunately, Nurmagomedov’s relationship with Russia will likely remain strained after his gyms were raided following a terrorist attack in Derbent and Makhachkala, two of the largest cities in the Russian Republic of Dagestan.
Multiple extremists linked to the attack are believed to have trained at the gym, though Nurmagomedov himself has not been found to have any links to the suspected extremists.
Khabib Nurmagomedov Has Paved the Way for a New Generation of Dagestani MMA Superstars
Since retiring from the UFC with a perfect 29-0 record, Khabib Nurmagomedov has helped pave the way for a new generation of Dagestani talent, including current 155-pound UFC champion Islam Makhachev and his cousin, reigning Bellator lightweight titleholder Usman Nurmagomedov.
“For us, this is gift from God,” Usman Nurmagomedov said during a recent Bellator media call. “People like Khabib, this guy is like, you cannot find like this guy like around you. This is so hard to find some someone like Khabib. He support us so much, he’s helping. And he know everything about MMA like nobody know.
“And when he in camp this is different, like everything is different, you’re feeling different. You like learning so much, you grow up yourself so much and this is like I’m very thankful for God because of Khabib we have.”
Usman Nurmagomedov is 17-0 in his MMA career, as is his brother and No. 2 ranked UFC lightweight contender Umar Nurmagomedov, who has won all 18 of his fights.
Following his unanimous decision win over Cory Sandhagen in Abu Dhabi, Umar Nurmagomedov appears to be next in line for a shot at the coveted 135-pound title, currently held by fan-favorite ‘Sugar’ Sean O’Malley.
