- Khabib Nurmagomedov shared a photo of him alongside Bellator CEO Scott Coker in a meeting
- “The Eagle” has previously said he will work with the promotion for a huge fight this year
If there’s something no one can question about Khabib Nurmagomedov, it would be the way he keeps his word. After previously stating that he will be working with Bellator for a big event in the near future, “The Eagle” has now officially met with the company’s CEO, Scott Coker.
“Work in progress”
On his official Instagram account, Nurmagomedov uploaded a photo of him, Coker and Dominance MMA boss Ali Abdelaziz altogether in one table inside what appeared to be a public restaurant.
To add context to the said meeting, the former UFC lightweight champion simply wrote:
“Work in progress 👊.”
JDS vs. Fedor
A few weeks ago, Nurmagomedov already announced that he will be in contact with Bellator in the coming weeks for the heavyweight showdown between his fellow former UFC champion Junior Dos Santos and compatriot Fedor Emelianenko.
It can be recalled that “Cigano” popped his shoulder during his debut fight at Nurmagomedov’s Eagle FC last month. But for “The Eagle,” that would not be a major concern and he will still continue discussing the aforementioned fight with Bellator.
