A fun night of fights from the makers of the Kimbo/James Thompson ear explosion extravaganza and Strikeforce: Brain Damage in St Louis. Pro Elite’s rise from the ashes was a scrappy evening of Hawaiian fun featuring the WMMA version of Cyborg/Manhoef, a debuting yet impressive Reagan Penn and even a revenge tale.
Seven years ago Kendall Grove was delivered his first professional loss by Joe Riggs, tonight he got his revenge by guillotining the hell out of one of the few dudes who can claim they’ve gotten into a fight with Nick Diaz in a hospital. Fifty nine seconds was all it took for the TUF winner to earn the right to cut a little notch into his belt.
