Props to Strikeforce/Zuffa for finding a game opponent for Gegard Mousasi after Mike Kyle broke his hand. Who knows what Keith Jardine was doing with himself before he got the phone call to (seemingly) become a Strikeforce no. 1 contender. Perhaps he was dancing down the street with strangers, or he could have been listening to the opposite of that darn techno-viking music and was probably grooving to Kool & The Gang, just like I am now. Summer Madness? More like summer chillin. Now Jardine has to hustle to drop a bunch of weight when he could have been cruising around letting the smooth beats of Robert Bell melt his night away. Kool & The Gang? Yes, please. Lets let Jardine fill us in on the deal while I lean back in my Cadillac and let this TR-808 sooth me.
“On thur night Strikforce called my manager about me filling in to fight Mousasi. I’ve always had trouble turning down a fight. So it looks like I’ll be on Showtime next week. I’m excited to be back with Zuffa!”
Welcome back to Zuffa Dean of Mean, it’s like you never left.
