Per a report from Combate Globo, the bout between the reigning defending 170-pound champion Kamaru Usman and the former interim Welterweight king Colby “Chaos” Covington is expected to take place in Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York, at UFC 244. It is unknown whether it will serve as the main event of the evening or not at the moment.
Usman and Covington have a beef history. “Chaos” crushed Kamaru’s UFC 235 open workout, and then took part in a near brawl with Usman and his manager Ali Abdelaziz at Palms Resort Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
