The Fight Between Kamaru Usman And Colby Covington Is Expected To Take Place At UFC 244!

Per a report from Combate Globo, the bout between the reigning defending 170-pound champion Kamaru Usman and the former interim Welterweight king Colby “Chaos” Covington is expected to take place in Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York, at UFC 244. It is unknown whether it will serve as the main event of the evening or not at the moment.

Usman and Covington have a beef history. “Chaos” crushed Kamaru’s UFC 235 open workout, and then took part in a near brawl with Usman and his manager Ali Abdelaziz at Palms Resort Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kamaru Usman (15-1 MMA, 10-0 UFC) won TUF 21 Tournament and scored 9 back-to-back victories. Then he won UFC Welterweight crown after outlasting Tyron Woodley at UFC 235.

Colby Covington (15-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) scored the greatest success of his career at UFC 225 when he won an interim 170-pound belt after a decision win over Rafael dos Anjos. In his last combat, Covington dominated Robbie Lawler, picking him apart for five rounds at UFC on ESPN 5.

What are your thoughts on the fight between Usman and Covington? Maybe this is not the most entertaining bout, but both fighters are on an amazing winning streak!
