UFC lightweights Justin Gaethje and Al Iaquinta officially announced as the main event for UFC Fight Night 135 which is set to take place Aug. 25 at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Neb.
Earlier UFC President Dana White shot down the possibility while blaming it on Iaquinta’s desire for a better payday.

Former WSOF champion Justin Gaethje (18-2) is on two-fight losing skid, has suffered back-to-back knockout losses to Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier.
Iaquinta (13-4-1) who returned after a year hiatus and took a short-notice fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov in the UFC 223 headliner last April. Unfortunately ended up suffering a unanimous-decision loss. That defeated snapped the 31-year-old “TUF 15” runner-up’s five-fight winning streak.
