Junior Dos Santos Won Tai Tuivasa In His Home Country, Great TKO!
UFC Fight Night 142 takes place from inside Adelaide Entertainment Center in Adelaide, South Australia. The co-main event of the evening brings the Heavyweight fight between the former UFC Heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos and undefeated former AFC Heavyweight champion Tai Tuivasa. Both fighters are great strikers!
Round 1
Herb Dean is the referee. Tai comes out hot but stumbles near the fence. Great low kicks from both men. These two want to fight, that’s great! Tuivasa gets a clinch. Dos Santos escapes like a pro without taking any damage. Oh, an overhand right just misses the chin or Tai Tuivasa!!!
Tai misses with few rights and “Cigano” with a counter right. Tai goes to the clinch but breaks away with a left hand. Tai ducks under dos Santos’ spinning wheel kick like a pro. He is not Mark Hunt ladies and gentlemen! Tuivasa with a knee, an uppercut from dos Santos.
What a low kick, dos Santos ends up on the mat, man this had to hurt!!!
He is back up, dos Santos is a strong guy! Tuivasa won this round.
Round 2
Tuivasa throws an overhand right. Another one, the Brazilian backs down. Dos Santos checked a low kick and threw one of his own, looks like he recovers. Tai lands a body shot into a clinch.
Four right hands, Tai Tuivasa is knocked down!!!
“JDS” is on the top of “Bam Bam” he rains strikes with style. He is in the mount, Tuivasa eats punch after punch. This could be it!!! “Bam Bam” tries something from the bottom but nothing happens, he is getting bashed. Herb Dean stops the fight, that’s it! The match is over, TKO victory for the Brazilian!
