Junie Browning attacks nurses, threatens to rape a chick and gets fired from the UFC

I found this story beating up other stories in our ‘WTF department’. I told it to sit in time out and just wait until it gets published but it gave me the Bibiano Fernandes finger and continued to cause ruckus. Alright, everyone remembers the egg-throwing, contestant threatening, alcohol guzzling fan favorite from The Ultimate Fighter. Junie Browning went into TUF with a perfect record, didn’t quite win on the show but he did score a ‘Fight of the N’ight award against Dave Kaplan at The Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale. Banguiz, one of our interviewers on MiddleEasy, caught up with Junie Browning in Arizona and asked him what exactly happened with him in the TUF house and Junie told us that he “smoked too much hookah” and “they couldn’t show it on camera” because sometimes he would “throw marijuana on top of the hookah” mixture. Steve Cofield broke the news late last night that Junie Browing was apparently doing something besides herb and it resulted in nurses being attacked, pills being ingested and the UFC terminating his contract. Check out what the Las Vegas Journal about Browning’s freak-out:

A UFC fighter who was featured on a SpikeTV show last year was arrested Tuesday night, accused of assaulting three nurses at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena campus, according to Henderson police.

Junie Browning, 24, was taken to the hospital by two friends after Browning took 16 pills of Klonopin, an anti-anxiety drug, in an attempt to harm himself, police stated in Browning’s arrest report.

After being taken to a room at the hospital, the Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter tried to leave and became angry, pushing a female nurse, punching a male nurse and kicking another male nurse, the report states.

“Do you know who I am? I will kill you and rape your family,” police said he yelled to nurses.

The mixed martial arts fighter was one of the cast members last year on SpikeTV’s “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir.”

Browning faces three counts of battery on a health care provider, according to his arrest report.

He was booked at the Henderson Detention Center, where he was released today.

So yeah, it looks like Junie Browing has another loss on his record. Bummer.

And here is what Dana White had to say about all of this:

“Obviously, I’m very disappointed. I haven’t heard anything regarding Junie where he’s acted up or been bad in a long time. You could tell on the show he had issues. I saw (fighting) as an opportunity for the kid to turn his life around and make something of himself…He was given an amazing opportunity, but he has some serious issues that are beyond me and what I can do. I’m there for guys and I realize nobody is perfect and guys are going to get into trouble. When that happens, I want to try to help and do something for them. But he needs more help than I can give him. I did what I could for him.”

Well, that’s the story…I don’t really know what to say about Junie Browning that hasn’t already been said about Chernobyl. Good luck bro and thanks for the brief interview in Arizona. [Source
