It’s 3:26 am in Singapore and all I can think about is that one scene in Batman where Jack Nicholson and his henchman spray paint works of art in the museum while everyone is dead from poison gas. What the heck was that about? Was Prince part of the Joker’s crew, or was his song just playing in the background as the thugs were defacing the paintings? It’s been a while since I’ve seen the movie in its entirety, so forgive me if my memory is a little parched. A lot of partying happened between 1989 and now, so rest in peace to those dead brain cells that held the inner secrets of Batman. You will be missed, dead brain cells. If in the afterlife you meet my dead brain cells that held the meaning of that book ‘Wuthering Heights,’ tell them that I truly miss them.
