Josh Koscheck says Dennis Rodman’s wedding dress is the key to defeating GSP

Everyday is another opportunity to go out and do something productive, but this morning, every fragment of my ambition disappeared the moment I realized I forgot to set the DVR for the rerun of UFC Unleashed with Koji Oishi vs. Nick Diaz. Every time I watch that fight I’m just as mesmerized I was the first time I saw it. It’s like being a New Yorker looking across the Hudson River and wondering what that mystical place on the other side is like. I hear people actually live there…weird. Anyway, Koji Oishi raised the bar for all welterweight MMA fighters on the night of UFC 53. Some people might not fully comprehend the intense focus and advanced gameplan Koji exhibited by trying to punch Nick Diaz’s punches while they were coming at him. It’s OK, he was ahead of his time like Shockfights and Paulo Filho’s fashion queues. What’s important is that he had a gameplan and he tried to execute it.

Josh Koscheck obviously watched that episode of UFC Unleashed I forgot to record. He then began formulating a gameplan for defeating welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre. Check out Kos as he discusses how much you loathe him and how a Dennis Rodman holds the keys to victory in his title fight against GSP.

“Dana doesn’t like me, and I don’t like him. That’s fine. If you knew me in person, and if you got to hang out with me – my down time away from the TV – I’m a lot different person […] The fans might not like me, but guess what – I win fights, and that’s the bottom line. I was like, ‘I know they’re going to boo, and if they boo, I’ve got to have some reaction for those [expletives].’ I was like, ‘These [expletive] suckers are going to get it when I get that microphone.’ I’m a fighter.

What are they going to do? They hate until they see me; once they see me, they kiss my ass. It’s like Dennis Rodman, one of the best rebounders in the NBA ever. He didn’t get noticed and start making real money until he started acting crazy. So, you never know. Maybe I’ll come out in a wedding dress when I fight St-Pierre.”

Georges St. Pierre has gone 13-1 since 2005, with his only loss to Matt Serra at UFC 69. It’s important to note that none of GSP’s previous opponents have trained with Dennis Rodman or come out in a wedding dress. Godspeed, Josh Koscheck. [Source]
