Should anyone even be surprised that a dude named The Korean Zombie literally fell apart? I mean we do have to admire the fact that Jung attempted to put his shoulder back into place during the fight, but not everyone is like that one dude we posted on MiddleEasy that nonchalantly put his arm back into place.
Before that unfortunate event it was a pretty bizarre outing from The Korean Zombie. A dude known for always pressing the action and forcing his opponents to fight at his pace was pretty hesitant tonight. If his goal was to slow Aldo down, then his method was pretty counterproductive. It seemed like he caught Aldo with a few shots earlier in the fight, which forced Aldo to try to pin him against the cage — but TKZ just couldn’t execute the gameplan that we all expected he would employ tonight.
Now the real question is if his shoulder would have remained intact would he have any chance at dethroning Jose Aldo? Hah, look at that — Dethone. Did I mention we’re giving away two free floor seats and a friggin’ signed Conor McGregor walkout shirt? Of course I did.
Props to Jose Aldo on yet another win in the 145 lbs division — he made Rihanna proud.
