The build-up to Craig Jones vs. Gabi Garcia has been something else.

Craig Jones ‘Crossed The Line’ Big Time

The BJJ superstars are set to collide in an intergender grappling match at the Craig Jones Invitational this weekend with Jones giving up a size advantage to the ADCC and IBJJF Champion Garcia. At least, that was the plan until Jones did the unexpected during their face-off on Thursday…

Jones got up close and personal, putting his hands on Garcia and kissing her on the lips to which Garcia instantly reacted, pushing Jones away from her and chasing off the grappling phenom.

“Sick f***!” Garcia shouted at Jones. “A b****, man. Craig, really? I’m f****** human, you crossed the line.”

Jones: “I Guess Brazilians Can’t Take A Joke”

Likely a troll, Jones posted the video of the altercation, saying the grappling match had been cancelled.

“Fights cancelled. I guess Brazilians can’t take a joke,” Jones wrote on his Instagram.”

Along with putting his lips on Garcia, Craig Jones is putting his money where his mouth is in a lucrative pre-fight bet. The 33 year-old dropped a $100K wager on himself to win by submission, but not just any, a leg lock will have to do for Jones to win a $125K payout.

“In case you thought I was going to take it easy on her. 100k of my own money on the line @shuffle,” Jones wrote on his Instagram a few days ago.

Jones vs. Garcia will be held over three five-minute rounds this Saturday in what is the intergender fight of the ages in Las Vegas, Nevada.
