Jon Jones Warns Brock Lesnar On Superfight: I’m Different Animal

Yesterday UFC president Dana White revealed he’s actively working on Brock Lesnar vs. Jon Jones super fight.

Former light heavyweight champion Jones last fought at UFC 214 ended up reclaiming the light-heavyweight title with an emphatic third-round KO victory over his bitter rival Daniel Cormier; unfortunately, he tested positive for Turinabol last July. Due to that promotion stripped him of the 205-pound strap and removed from the official UFC rankings.

To remind you before title stripping Jones called out Lesnar in an unforgettable post-fight interview.

This marking Jones second PED failure under USADA testing. That case has not yet been completed, so are unsure how long a suspension Jones will ultimately receive.

Jones addressed a potential fight with the former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar earlier this morning during an impromptu Twitter Q&A.

“Honestly don’t think I’m ever going to officially move to heavyweight. I make 205 way too easily. I will start picking off super fights tho.. heavyweights take way too much damage.” “I don’t underestimate Brock Lesnar, dude’s been whooping ass his whole life,” he said. “He’s just facing a different animal this time, that’s all. My brother wrestled at 275 lbs. throughout high school, I’ve been dealing with bigger guys my whole life.”

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar last fought at UFC 200 against Mark Hunt. Lesnar won a unanimous decision which later overturned when it was revealed he failed two USADA issued drug tests before the showdown.

Lesnar’s current WWE deal reportedly allowed him to take one UFC fight. As per White Lesnar’s new deal with WWE will be over in summer and he want’s one more fight in UFC.

Jones and Lesnar, two of the biggest names in mixed martial arts history, are both suspended for failed drug tests, need to clear their hurdles with USADA before they step inside the Octagon.
