Both Jamahal Hill and Jiri Prochazka recently lost their battles with the current champion, Alex Pereira. Now, they’re set to face each other in a crucial showdown at UFC 311 on January 18.

Jamahal Hill hasn’t held back since losing his light heavyweight title. After being stopped in the first round by Pereira, Hill had hoped for an immediate rematch to reclaim his belt.

Meanwhile, Jon Jones, widely considered one of the greatest fighters of all time, finally shared his thoughts after his dominant victory over Stipe Miocic at UFC 309. Jones successfully defended his heavyweight title and overcame a lengthy recovery from an injury he sustained after capturing the belt last year.

Jon Jones Predicts Winner of Jamahal Hill vs. Jiri Prochazka

Jamahal Hill, also called “Sweetdreams,” didn’t get a rematch for his belt right away, but now he’s taking on Jiri Prochazka, a former champion, in a really important fight.

Jon Jones, who’s fighting in the heavyweight division now, surprised everyone by saying he might want to fight Hill someday. Fans didn’t expect this, especially since Jones has been unsure about fighting Tom Aspinall, the interim champ.

Jones also shared that he’s talking to the UFC about his next fight, which might be against Aspinall. Plus, he gave his thoughts on Hill’s big fight with Prochazka and called Hill a possible opponent for the future.

“I think Jamahal Hill will win. Jiri has really unorthodox striking but Jamahal seems like the more technical and clean striker and I’m a big fan of basic techniques and Jamahal has a really strong basic and clean kickboxing style,” Jones told The Schmo.

Jon Jones in Talks with UFC for Next Big Fight After UFC 309

Jon Jones isn’t done fighting.  After winning against Stipe Miocic, he’s thinking about coming back in 2025. He might fight Tom Aspinall or maybe even Alex Pereira.

Right now, Jones and the UFC are talking to make his next fight happen. They want to agree on a deal so there’s no trouble like last time.

For fans hoping to see him fight again, Jones shared some good news. He said things are going well with the UFC talks. Let’s hope we see him in the octagon soon.

“Right now, the UFC and I are in talks to see what happens next. I’m back in the gym, I’m training, I feel really great. The team’s support, they’re right behind me, and we’ll just be ready for whatever opportunity comes our way,” Jones said.

“There is a [money figure], but I’m not going to discuss that publicly. We’ll just have to wait and see. I’ll be competing in 2025, more than likely.”

Jon Jones has been talking about coming back to fight again, but he doesn’t really want to fight Tom Aspinall right now. Even though the UFC wants it, Jon says he’s not too excited about it.

Jon Anik, a guy who talks about the fights, thinks Jon will want a lot of money for his next fight, maybe $20 to $25 million. But Jon says we’ll have to wait to find out how much money until the talks are done.

Fans are really hoping Jon will come back to fight in 2025, and it could be a really big fight. Tom Aspinall won his chance by beating some really strong fighters. But before Jon moved up to fight big guys, he was already a champion in his own weight class.

The talks between Jon and the UFC are still going, and fans are excited to see what happens next.
