Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall may never actually face each other in the Octagon, but they’re more than happy to continue trading jabs on social media.
Aspinall has been fishing for a fight with ‘Bones’ ever since he laid out Sergei Pavlovich to claim the interim UFC heavyweight title in November. Unfortunately, Aspinall has been unable to reel him in as the undisputed champ has remained adamant about rebooking his legacy fight with Stipe Miocic that fell through last year.

Still, that hasn’t stopped Aspinall from trying which has oftentimes generated an indirect response from Jones online. However, it now appears that all pleasantries are being pushed aside. Taking to Instagram, ‘Bones’ made an unusually vulgar comment—even for him—in response to Aspinall’s latest attack.
“This dude literally has my large black c**k in his mouth every week,” Jones wrote. “I’m flattered. I absolutely guarantee he will not win more world championships than me. That’s truly all that matters at the end of the day. There’s been many champions, no one like me. I sleep good at night.”
Aspinall was quick to snap back at the consensus GOAT, poking fun at Jones’ history with performance-enhancing drugs.
“Jon’s right, he’s won so many more world championships than me… While using PEDs,” Aspinall replied.

After KO’ing Daniel Cormier at UFC 217, ‘Bones’ tested positive for the banned substance turinabol. As a result, the bout was overturned to a no-contest and Jones was slapped with a 15-month suspension.
In 2020, Jeff Novitzky, the senior VP of athlete health and performance for the UFC revealed that the promotion would no longer penalize athletes for anything under 100 picograms due to there being “too many uncertainties.” Per a report from Yahoo! Sports, Jones’ tests surrounding the Cormier fight alternated between positive and negative with one of them revealing he had 33 grams of turinabol in his system—far below the legal threshold per the revised rule.
Since then, Jones has lobbied to have the no-contest ruling reversed, giving him back his win. Jones continues to defend himself against the PED accusations online, but after all this time, he’s not losing any sleep over it.
“Yep, worked my a** to prove my innocence,” Jones wrote in response to a fan. “Now picograms are legal in our sport. Honestly, none of that will matter a few years from now when I’m covering my kids’ tuition. You guys still laughing about what happened at the office, I’m outside on a golf cart.”

‘Bones’ was also grateful for all the attention Aspinall has thrown his way over the last year, noting how it has kept him in the MMA limelight without actually having to fight anyone.
“Nope, not at all, but I definitely appreciate all the attention he gives me,” Jones replied to another fan asking if Aspinall was on his mind. “I’m more relevant than ever. Haven’t even fought. It’s an amazing thing.”

Jon Jones Should Get $25 Million Guaranteed to Fight Tom Aspinall
Jake Paul decided to chime in on all the will-they-or-won’t-they drama surrounding Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall, suggesting that ‘Bones’ isn’t dodging anyone. He’s just playing the game in a way that will guarantee him the most money when it comes time to negotiate.
“Jon Jones doesn’t dodge anyone,” Paul wrote on X. “He knows exactly what he’s doing. Show him the money – that real money. Not that spin the narrative money. Him versus Aspinal is massive as it hits two big ppv markets. $25M guarantee plus ppv seems about right.”
