Undisputed UFC heavyweight titleholder Jon Jones recently reacted to a viral post comparing his 2024 earnings to that of OnlyFans model Sophie Rain.
According to a graphic circulating on social media, Rain raked in a whopping $43 million this year on the popular subscription-based website. By comparison, Jones, considered to be the greatest mixed martial artist of all time, brought in $6.3 million following his knockout of two-time titleholder Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 in November.
Unsurprisingly, the post received a variety of reactions, some of them pointing to the fact that Jon Jones has only fought twice in the last five years while others think the disparity in pay simply comes down to anatomy. “Sophie has tits, he doesn’t,” one user smartly pointed out in the comments.
The post ended up sparking up a debate so fierce that even Jon Jones commented on it himself and called its credibility into question.
“Whoever put this together really deserves a round of applause…for mastering the art of talking without knowing a thing,” Jones wrote.
Jon Jones Could Bank $25 Million for a Fight with Tom Aspinall
Jones’ payday for his fight against Miocic has not been disclosed, though a report from Supreme Fitness suggests that he could bank upwards of $15 million for the fight — though other estimates put it somewhere in the $5 million range.
However, UFC play-by-play man Jon Anik believes ‘Bones’ could bank four to five times that amount when he goes to the negotiating table for a title unification clash with interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall. After denying interest in a fight with Aspinall over the last year, Jones left the door cracked open following his win against Miocic.
Whether or not the UFC will give Jones everything he wants to sign on the dotted line remains to be seen.
