It’s a great thing when you can figure out exactly what you want in life and go after it with reckless abandon. Many people never figure it out or don’t want to take the risk, but not Jon Jones. He knows what he wants and he’s going to go after it. In a recent interview with USAToday he says what he wants is simply-everything.
“Because things have been going so well, right now it’s about not putting limits on anything and realizing the sky is the limit.”
“Really, I want everything, and I’ve said that since day one. I want to be the best. I want to be a record-holder in everything. I want to be a heavyweight champion and a light-heavyweight champion. I want it all.”
After reading those quotes from Jones, I can’t help but picture him devouring fizzy lifting drinks and everlasting gobstoppers while running around a chocolate factory singing his own rendition of Veruca Salt’s “I want it now” scene from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. I also can’t help but picture the potential for a futuristic bigger, heavier Jon Jones super fight with the likes of Junior Dos Santos or Overeem. If you are like me, that vision is so rawesome-you can probably hardly contain your excitement right now. It’s like the MMA equivalent of Charlie finding the very last golden ticket to Wonkaville.
