Jones Bashes Chris Weidman For Brutal First-Round KO Loss To Reyes At UFC Boston
Chris Weidman said previously he will end Jon Jones era like he did with former champ Anderson Silva after making his UFC 205-pound debut, however it didn’t go well, as he was brutally battered by Dominick Reyes in the first round last night in Boston.
He is on a very cold streak at the moment (1-4, with losses to Mousasi, Romero, Rockhold, and Souza). Chris Weidman last scored a win on July 2017. He submitted Kelvin Gastelum.
Even UFC head honcho Dana White said in post-fight presser that ‘All American’ either think of retirement or moved down to middleweight. It seems a bout with Jones is unlikely.
But “Bones” was quick to reply on social media. Look at his Twitter and Instagram posts.
”Before you guys come to my weight class and start talking shit, make sure you can get past a few of my contenders first 🤙🏽.”
In the post Jones also throw a shade at former champ Luke Rockhold who also called out ‘Bones’ on mutliple ocassions. Rockhold made his light heavyweight debut this past July but suffered a KO lost by the hands of Jan Blachowicz and now contemplating retirement.
Following a dominant performance Reyes called out Jon Jones. in return here’s what ‘Bones’ said to him.
Many have talk shit, all have fallen. You will do the same

It seems Dominick Reyes needs to defeat few more dangerous foes before sharing the Octagon with the undisputed division champion. But Dominick definitively wants to see who is going to fall.
Let's run it and see who falls. https://t.co/sixcqlq8SV
