Jon Jones is ready for his heavyweight debut.
Jones hasn’t competed since February 2019 when he defeated Dominick Reyes to defend his light heavyweight title.
“Bones” would later vacate his title in preparation for his long-awaited heavyweight debut.
After more than two years, we are getting closer and closer to finally seeing it.
Jones, who has been building muscle in preparation for the move for a while now, recently posted footage of himself deadlifting 585 pounds to further showcase just how ready he is for the move up.

Jon Jones Likely To Face Stipe Miocic Next
As for who Jones will face in his debut, it is likely to be former champion Stipe Miocic.
Jones has done more than enough to get an instant title shot, but with current champion Francis Ngannou healing from surgery, it appears Miocic is the only valid option for now.
White also stated that Jones was ready to go with Ngannou or Miocic being options.
“Jon Jones is ready to go,” White said recently. “We’re just waiting for an opponent. It’s either going to be Francis [Ngannou] depending on how long his knee is going to take to recover or Stipe Miocic.”
While it would have been nice to see Jones challenge Ngannou right away, a fight with Miocic is certainly one heck of a consolation.
