Jon Jones Attacks Daniel Cormier For Not Replying USADA Phone Calls, DC Fires Back

Jon Jones Wrote Daniel Cormier Ignores USADA Phone Calls And Not Accepting The Truth, DC Called Him “A Snitch And A Cheater”

Jon Jones has gone through hell with USADA. But he was lucky in the end and slipped out with an only 15-month ban. Many fighters were disappointed with USADA decision, claiming the politics got involved. USADA officials claimed Jones got reduction following “substantial assistance rule”.

Bones attacked two-division champion, Daniel Cormier, in an Instagram post on Thursday night. He stated that DC ignores USADA phone calls. He even mentioned Cormier can’t accept Bones’ USADA verdict. According to Jon Jones, Daniel Cormier is looking for every possible way to ignore the fact he received a shin to the face.

Now let’s remember their showdowns. Jon Jones is the only man who was able to defeat Daniel Cormier two times. In the first place, they fought at UFC 182 on January 3, 2015. Jon Jones won the match via unanimous decision and defended UFC Light Heavyweight title. It was later taken away from him due to violating UFC’s Athlete Code of Conduct policy. The two fought again at UFC 214 on July 29, 2017. It was the title shot again. Originally, Bones won via head kick KO, but it was overturned to no contest. His samples were tested positive on Turinabol. He was stripped of the title later.

At the end of the post, Jones described that Cormier’s illusion is crumbling. Jon Jones also reminded him that “violation was not intended nor could it have enhanced the athlete’s performance”. It looks like Bones barely waits to kick Cormier’s ass if they meet again.

@dc_mma You mad, Bro? USADA keeps calling but you’re not going to pick up the phone because the second you hear them say I’m innocent is the instant the illusion you’ve created shatters. Then it’s all real AGAIN and that’s not a step you’re willing to take. Instead you wrap yourself in your fake belt and keep telling yourself the shin that slammed into your face and the performance that buried you once again was enhanced. The fact you can’t beat me kills you and it stops you from picking up that phone. If you answer it then the nightmare becomes reality. Then again, maybe you do pick up, accept the truth that you were defeated by a superior fighter and that gives you peace. Or it goes another way and you get motivated to try a third time and that will save me the hassle of having to dig you up before I bury you. So now that the illusion you’ve built is crumbling and the “violation was not intended nor could it have enhanced the athlete’s performance” you still have to tell yourself something yeah? And while there was “absolutely no intention to use prohibited substances,” it was my intention to kick your ass once again. Mission accomplished. Pick up the phone #letstalkaboutit

Daniel Cormier didn’t waste time and wrote almost an instant Instagram response.

First of all, a picture of Jon Jones in the prison suit draws a lot of the attention by itself. DC reminded him that “innocent people” don’t get suspended. Daniel Cormier also wrote that he was tested more than 70 times and nothing was found in his samples. So, Jones is the only fighter who was stripped of the title three times.

At the end of the post, Cormier called him a snitch which betrayed his teammates to get suspension reduction. DC wrote he taught cheater is the worst possible thing but he learned something new from Jon Jones! Cormier also asked him to get off his page and have fun with coke or steroids instead.

“So here we go again Jonny boy. First off, if you did nothing wrong and were ‘innocent’ then you’d have never been suspended. You’ve had to stand before these people and arbitrators so many times it’s insane. So you slipped again, how many times can one man slip?

“I’ve been tested 70 times and I haven’t slipped once. How do you explain that? And on top of all the cheating you’ve done around UFC 182, UFC 200 and UFC 214 that’s not even the straw that broke the camel’s back. You are actually a SNITCH!

“You think you’re the only one that’s been offered this deal? No, you’re just the only scumbag low enough to take it! Which one of your teammates did you tell on to get this joke of a punishment from USADA! I thought there was nothing lower than a cheater but it’s not surprising that you show me a whole new level. You’re a cheater and a SNITCH! Get off my page and go do some coke, or steroids or whatever you losers do in your spare time.”

What are your thoughts on this social media showdown? Who has the right here? Is that Jon Jones, who hopes for a third fight versus DC? Or Daniel Cormier knows something we don’t? After all, you don’t accuse someone of cheating and snitching every day!
