Johnny Walker Wows Social Media With Crazy Flying Knee

UFC Light heavyweight Johnny Walker has been stealing the show ever since he’s made his way towards the Zuffa umbrella. Flying knees, celebratory dances, and wild entrances have made Walker a crowd favorite.

Also, Walker is one of the more entertaining personalities in the light heavyweight division. Walker has a very playful side which is usually displayed on social media and after he beats an opponent. Usually, the victory comes in less than two minutes. However, another side of Walker shows his pure power and freakish athleticism. Circulating around social media currently is a flying knee video that shows exactly how athletic Walker is.

Johnny Walker’s Athleticism

Shown in the footage is Walker landing a huge flying knee from a vertical jump. Not only was the rhythmically timed jump from a vertical position, but it also landed on pads held a trainer resting on the shoulders of another trainer. Showcasing his leaping ability is also nothing new for Walker.

It’s safe to say that Walker’s athleticism is off the charts. While it appears that Walker is having fun in camp, the knee wasn’t just a one-off. Walker has been known to land that same knee on the faces of many of his opponents.

Training For Corey Anderson

Johnny is currently training to take on Corey Anderson at UFC 244 in Madison Square Garden. While the video that surfaced was a cool way to wow the social media audience, Walker is still training hard at AKA Thailand for the upcoming bout.

Showing his skill set to the public is not a new idea to Walker. It doesn’t take him out of his comfort zone. Lately, he’s been training at AKA Thailand, which is noticeable on his Instagram account.

Expect fireworks When Walker and Anderson Collide

Walker is riding a 9 fight win streak with all but one bout ending in a finish. His last bout ended with his infamous flying knee against Misha Cirkunov at UFC 235 in just 35 seconds.

Anderson has quietly been on a winning streak of his own securing three victories in a row against top-level talent. Anderson has toughed out unanimous decision victories over Patrick Cummins, Glover Teixeira, and Ilir Latifi.

Walker’s sheer power and Anderson’s forward pressure should make for an explosive matchup. Who do fans have winning the contest? Let us know in the comments below.
