Johnny Walker To Return Against Corey Anderson At MSG

Corey Anderson has been in headlines as of lately. He sits in top 10 rankings of UFC Light Heavyweight for some time now. He’s currently riding on a three-fight winning streak that led him to call out Jon Jones following his close edge win over Thiago Santos and crashed his meet and greet. However, that didn’t work out as UFC head honcho Dana White said “Overtime” is not next for Jones.

As a result, Anderson called out another hottest prospect Johnny Walker, who even accepted his call out.

Recently ESPN’s Brett Okamoto reported that UFC is in works to book Corey Anderson against Johnny Walker for Madison Square Garden on November 2.

Anderson (12-4) is coming off straight three wins over the likes of Patrick Cummins, Glover Teixeira, and Ilir Latifi. Anderson hasn’t fought in 2019. A win may put in title situation.

Meanwhile, Johnny Walker joined the promotion back in 2018 and has gone 3-0 in the Octagon with wins over the likes of  Khalil Rountree, Justin Ledet, and Misha Cirkunov. He recently healed from a shoulder injury suffered back in March after his win while doing a worm dance.
