Joe Rogan Is Trying To Force Feed Us Another Cross-Sport Match

Joe Rogan spends a ton of time trying to find conversations, which is bound to end up with him saying crazy things. Recently, he had an idea that might end up fitting into that category.

Last weekend, the boxing world was flipped on its head when Andy Ruiz Jr knocked out Anthony Joshua to gain the Heavyweight Title. Following this crazy upset, UFC commentator Joe Rogan is pondering a fight between Ruiz, and UFC Heavyweight Francis Ngannou. He talked on the Joe Rogan Experience about how big he thinks the bout could be. (via BJPenn.com)

“I know [Ngannou] could box. He could with training. He’s so big and so powerful. He, in my opinion, the most dangerous one-punch guy I’ve ever seen. If you make any mistake with that guy… heavyweights just go flying across the room.”

Rogan went on to say that while Ruiz has the experience, the power of Ngannou is hard to deal with. He then added a bold statement about what this bout could do.

“People would [want to] see it, just like people wanted to see Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor. It’s kind of the same way, you know, Conor McGregor knocks people dead in the UFC, and Floyd Mayweather is the greatest boxer of all time — of all time.”

Joe Rogan then went on to talk about how the power of Ngannou would still be too much, even in bigger glove.

“I don’t give a f**k who you are. If he hits you with that left hook that he hit Alistair [Overeem] with? Get the f**k out of here. No one survives that.”

Do you agree with Joe Rogan? Would a boxing match between Francis Ngannou and Andy Ruiz Jr be as big as MayMac?
