Joe Rogan: McGregor Is Getting Special Treatment Following Bus Melee Is ‘F*ked Up’

Former two-division champion Conor Mcgregor stormed the UFC 223 media day at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York looking for Khabib Nurmagomedov, who had been involved in an altercation with the Irishman’s team-mate Artem Lobov few days before the event.

His latest controversial act hasn’t sat well with UFC’s commentator Joe Rogan, who lambasted the UFC’s cash cow. Promotions boss Dana White also reacted to Conor McGregor’s ‘disgusting, criminal’ bus rampage and said ‘I don’t know if he’s on drugs or what.’ He even said that he “absolutely” doesn’t want to be in business with Conor McGregor right now, because “everybody is gonna be pretty disgusted” with the Notorious.

Yup, a few days later and things seem to have changed entirely, as the White has suddenly reversed his tune and said the mutual respect factor was still there.

Well regardless of what White said, it remains to be seen if UFC will impose any punishment to Mcgregor. That incident resulted injuring two fighters and forcing the cancellation of three bouts at UFC 223. However, Joe Rogan recounted the incident and said he doesn’t appreciate Conor Mcgregor getting special treatment on a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience: (Quotes Via MMAMania)

“I wouldn’t say it was a booze move, it’s more of a coke move. Or it could just be part of his act. What if that dolly hit the part where Rose was sitting and cut Rose’s face up? Michael Chiesa, I’m sad that he got cut but Chiesa is a tough bastard, he will be fine. He is probably pissed off, will sue Conor and make a shit load of money suing him. But what if it hit Rose? The fucking world would hate him. What if Rose was blinded in one eye because of that? Ray Borg got cuts in his eyes, so it’s entirely possible. He got glass shards in, he’s got a scratched cornea. Chiesa filed a complaint, which will lead to a lawsuit, I would imagine. If I was Conor, I would settle every fucking thing outside of a courtroom because if he loses and he gets a felony, he’s fucked. He probably won’t even be able to come into the country. Switch it around; imagine if Ray Borg threw that dolly and Conor was inside. He’d be gone, his career would be over. That’s one of the more fucked up things about this is that you know Conor is getting special treatment. He is, and that’s not good for anybody.”

Mcgregor charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief and agreed to return to court on June 14 after posting $50,000 bail.
