There are many things in life that I don’t enjoy but I understand why others can enjoy that thing and can appreciate that. Opera for example, those people have an amazing voice, they are super talented and I can appreciate what they do, but it’s simply not for me. Japanese RPGs are another, while I don’t enjoy them at all, I can see that just because I don’t enjoy them doesn’t make them bad, it just means that I don’t like them.
One thing that I don’t understand and will never understand strip clubs. I should mention that I’ve never actually been to a strip club and I never plan on going to one. To me, I’d only go to a strip club if I were a masochist and while I’m a fan of both the New York Knicks and Dark Souls, I’m not a masochist. It’s not as if when you go to a strip club you can ‘relieve yourself,’ you’re paying to get blue balls. I’ve had people tell me well at some places you could can pay them to make you reach climax. My response to that is always how much is it and it’s always far too much. I’d rather spend half of what it’d take me to go to a strip club for sexual favors and take a girl out to dinner, get food and also have a shot at getting sexual favors. Also, there is a significantly less chances of me getting any sort of disease.
I realize I’m in the minority with these feelings, but Joe Rogan’s story makes me feel more comfortable with never being at a strip club, because I never ever want to be in the position he was in with an unnamed UFC fighter.
Side note, seeing as the event was UFC 12, who do you think was the unnamed UFC fighter? My money is on Scott Ferrozzo.
