Elon Musk has been popping up in the news a lot lately, especially now that Donald Trump is president again. Back in 2017, Elon said he wanted to buy Twitter. Most people thought he was just kidding around.
But in 2022, he actually bought it. He changed the name to X, which sounds pretty cool. The not-so-cool part? When he bought it, Twitter was worth $44 billion. Now, it’s only worth $9.4 billion. That’s a huge difference.

Joe Rogan said he’d love to take Rachael Maddow’s job if Elon Musk bought MSNBC. He even joked that he’d dress up like her to make people laugh.
Rachael Maddow is really famous. She talks about news and politics on TV, and lots of people know her. She’s also the first openly lesbian person to host a big news show in the U.S. That’s why some people think Joe’s joke might have been a little mean.
He was trying to be funny, but not everyone thought it was nice.
