Joe Rogan Has A Laugh At Conor McGregor
Leave it to a comedian to make light of the most serious situations. Especially a comedian as talented as UFC commentator Joe Rogan. The MMA community was outraged about Conor McGregor’s recent antics at a bar in Dublin. Fans voiced their opinions via social media condemning McGregor. Everyone seemed to be fed up with Conor and his antics.. everyone but Joe Rogan. Joe Rogan laughed… as a comedian should.
In a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast, Rogan sat down with Grammy-winning recording artist Everlast. The pair spoke about a multitude of topics but one, in particular, was the recent behavior of Conor McGregor outside of the UFC octagon.
When you see a guy like Conor McGregor, part of what is him is Irish,” said Rogan.
“He’s like a pure, brilliant Irish. A boastful, bad motherf***er. (He) knows how to take a loss like a man, (but) still talks shit.”
Rogan laughed As He Continued On
He began to question Mcgregor, but still, continue on in his playful rhetoric.
“He’s got like $100 million in the bank and he still wants to fight people. Still smacking people at bars.” Rogan chuckled. “What’s he doing? Don’t do that. Who knows what the guy said to him.”
Joe playfully grinned from ear to ear when they got to McGregor previously destroying a fan’s cellphone in Florida.
“He’s Conor Mcgregor.”, said Rogan. “He’s living like you’re supposed to live if you’re Conor McGregor. The dance is, don’t go to jail dude. Don’t get locked up.”
Rogan Switched To McGregor’s World Class Striking
Like all good comedians, Rogan knew when the joke was over. It was time to get serious and speak about how good McGregor is as a fight.
“If you look at the Aldo fight, (it was a) picture-perfect left-hand knockout. It doesn’t get any prettier, the timing, the setup, the patience, the movement.”, said Rogan. “He’s got a weird sense of timing, he’s very good at understanding where you’re at and knowing when to put it on you.”
While Joe Rogan laughed playfully at McGregor’s expense, he also knows that Conor’s recent run-ins with the law are serious. While joking, even Rogan knows that it is time for McGregor to get his act together.
