The hosts of “The View” made fun of Joe Rogan, but he took it in stride and even embraced it.

Joy Behar, a longtime talk show host, called out Joe during a discussion about how younger people often get their news from influencers instead of traditional sources.

“We went from Walter Kronkite, basically, to this guy Joe Rogan, who believes in dragons,” said Behar.

“I checked it,” she continues, “and he also believes that dragons, I dunno, like dinosaur-y type of animals, roamed the Earth when people did.

“So this is the type of really, really bad information that is going out there,” she concluded.

Joe Rogan didn’t get upset by what was said

He shared a video on X where Joy Behar talked about what she thought of his ideas. He just laughed it off and didn’t let it bother him.

“That’s my new official X description,” he wrote — and swiftly updated his bio to read, “Dragon Believer.”

Rogan then shared a chat with Forrest Galante, who is a biologist and adventurer. The conversation was called “Were Dragons Real Animals?”

Rogan frequently talks about various topics on his podcast, including dragons. He has discussed the idea that dragon stories from different cultures might have been inspired by real, large reptiles or possibly a surviving species of pterodactyl, though not one that breathed fire like the mythical dragons.

In one of his episodes, Joe Rogan talked about a conversation he had with adventurer Forrest Galante. Galante shared an interesting thought that dragons could have been inspired by real animals, ones with bones that were hollow, much like modern-day birds. “if there were lizards big enough to fly around and eat people, they didn’t have bones that could fossilize.”

“It’s so possible that something that flew like a pterodactyl, like we think of pterodactyls as being like bat wings, maybe they had feathers, maybe that was a gigant [sic] predatory bird and maybe some of those things looked like dragons,” he said to a later guest, later adding, “Think of all these different cultures, ancient, medieval Europe, China, Japan, all of them had dragons, there’s so many dragons, it might have been a real thing, and I think most of them didn’t have dragons that could spit fire either, I think that was like Hollywood movie Godzilla type deal.”

Joe Rogan shared many posts about dragons. He even reposted a Bible verse, Job 41:18-21, which describes a big creature called the Leviathan, and it kind of sounds like a dragon.

On “The View,” the hosts talked about a poll saying many young people get their news from social media stars with right-leaning views. Joy Behar used this chance to praise her show and take a shot at Joe Rogan. This happened after Sara Haines told viewers to double-check things before getting upset. Behar then shared her own thoughts.

“I think that’s why people like our show,” said the former comedian. “Because they know that we are checked by ABC News.”

“We’re checked by everybody,” said Whoopi Goldberg.
