“When I heard Bruce Buffer saying the numbers, how the judges scored the card, I was like okay, I expected that I was going to win by split decision,” Jedrzejczyk said at the post-fight press conference. “But when I heard the difference, I was like, okay, I got the win easy, even with my coaches.”

Joanna felt shocked when Rose Namajunas was announced as a winner.

“It was really big surprise, and the numbers don’t lie,” Jedrzejczyk said. “142-84 in landed punches.

“That’s the answer. That’s the answer.”

Joanna felt as if she was winning the contest, and said she is not going to complain about the numbers, as she is content with what she’s accomplished.

“We thought the second round was like super close, but man, more kicks from me,” she said. “I feel great. You could see me, like, she got out from the third round and I was more than ready to go, whatever round. I could fight 10 more rounds. And every break, I was on my feet ready to go.”

“I felt I was winning the fight. I felt I was winning the fight, and here I’m not complaining that I lost or not. I’m really different fighter. I have done so much for myself and the sport.”
