Jeremy Stephen’s Wants To Face Chan Sung Jung Next: “It’s The Most Exciting Fight To Make”
Chan Sung Jung aka “Korean Zombie” picked up a quick win when he finished featherweight counterpart Renato Moicano in just 58 seconds into round one in the main headliner of UFC on ESPN+ 12 last night (Sat., June 22, 2019) from inside Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.
Jung improved his score to 5-2 in the UFC. Before this win, ‘Korean Zombie’ suffered a fifth-round last-second knockout (elbow) loss from the hands of Yair Rodriguez last November.
With a high profile win in the fight card last night it showed he’s still a threat in the featherweight division.
Another featherweight contender impressed by Jung’s performance and offered him a challenge following his UFC Greenville win.
I’ll take the @KoreanZombieMMA next! Let’s go @danawhite @seanshelby @ufc it’s the most exciting fight to make. Congrats on quick work, see ya soon! 👊🏽

Stephens is currently riding on back-to-back losses to Zabit Magomedsharipov and former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo. Despite the setbacks, Stephen’s is one of the most entertaining fighters on the UFC roster so no doubt if he lands a Jung’s fight it’ll be one hell of firework.
‘Korean Zombie’ hasn’t responded to Stephen’s call out however he’s always up to the challenge if promotion wants this matchup.
