Jeremy Stephens Earns A Vicious KO Over Josh Emmett And Referee Ignores Multiple Illegal Moves

UFC on Fox 28 went down Saturday, Feb 24, 2108, at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. Top two UFC featherweight contenders Jeremy Stephens and Joshua Emmett collide in the main event.

Both men landed big shots in the opening round, and Emmett secured a knock-down of his own late in the round but was unable to capitalise.

In the second round, Stephens landed one flush on Emmett’s chin which knocked him down, and he didn’t give him a second chance. He landed several elbows, with ground and pound which some appear to have been illegally on the back of the head.

Jeremy Stephens drops Emmett with a counter left! It looked like he landed an illegal knee, then Stephens puts him out cold with two more massive elbows.

After this win, albeit a controversial one, Stephens wins his third-straight fight at 145 pounds and scores a second consecutive knockout finish.
