Jay Hieron is coming back to the UFC to replace Josh Koscheck against Jake Ellenberger

I just got a text that Jay Hieron is back in the UFC for the first time since 2005.  I then spent the next four minutes fist-pumping and attempting to break dance.  I may or may not have sprained my ankle, but that’s beside the point.  As my ice pack does it’s thing, Jay Hieron will return to the gym and prepare to face Jake Ellenberger at UFC 151 while Josh Koscheck remains on bed rest learning to play his Nickelback-autographed bass guitar.  As far as we know, the September 1st fight has been verbally agreed to and will take place in Las Vegas.  It will probably be on the main card too.

If you take into account the controversial loss to Bellator welterweight champion Ben Askren, Hieron has gone on an 11-1 run in his past 12 fights.  He spent the rest of his time outside the UFC performing movie stunts and doing television cameos in CBS dramas, The Avengers, The Dictator, Person of Interest, and Safe.  On weekends he reads to the blind, delivers meals on wheels, rescues animals from burning buildings, translates ethnic slurs for Cuban refugees, and builds sandcastles in Antarctica.

Yes, that means you should break your ankles in sheer excitement of his return to the Octagon too.
