Japanese Kickboxing Star Tenshin Nasukawa Wins… By Robbery?

Say it’s ain’t so! The very core of my belief in the sanctity of Japanese combat sports has been shaken to the very core.

Could it be true? Could a Japanese commission really put forth a group of judges that were bias toward the hometown, main-event megastar that everyone’s livelihood rides on? I shalt not believe it.

Check out Tenshin Nasukawa “defeating” Rodtang Jitmuangnon by extra round decision at Rise 125, and see if you agree that this was a grade A hometown decision.

Inconspicuous decision aside, I’m glad this keeps the hype train fully primed for the RIZIN KICKS tournament. Now more than ever, we must sacrifice any stupid notions of “sport” and “fairness” in order to preserve the existence of RIZIN and awesomely weird, theatrical Japanese MMA. And if that means Tenshin gotta wins some robberies, then I’m scoring every round in his favor.
