Jan Blachowicz Vs. Thiago Santos Staredown
UFC is returning to business tomorrow (Sat. Feb. 23, 2019) with its UFC Fight Night 145 “Blachowicz vs. Santos” MMA event which takes place from inside O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic. The main card starts at 2 PM ET on ESPN +; meanwhile, the preliminary card will begin at 11 AM EST on ESPN 2.
Earlier today promotion held the weigh-ins where all the fighters made weight for Saturday’s fight.
The main header features a light heavyweight bout between Jan Błachowicz and Thiago “Marreta” Santos. The winner is expected to get a title shot by late 2019.
In the co-main event, Stefan Struve will clash against Marcos Rogério de Lima in a heavyweight match.
Two fighters missed the weight, Klidson Abreu who tipped the scale at 209 pounds for his 205-pound contest with Magomed Ankalaev, and Diego Ferreira weighed in 157 pounds for his lightweight clash against Rustam Khabilov. Both athletes fined 20 percent of their purse and allowed to compete tomorrow.
