Jan Blachowicz Defeats Nikita Krylov Via Second-Round Submission!

We are live from inside the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia. Nikita Krylov fights against Jan Blachowitz in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 136 in the Light Heavyweight showdown.

Round 1

Nikita Krylov delivers an early leg kick which is followed by a head kick. Blachowicz missed with a hook, which allowed Krylov to perform a takedown. Krylov holds him on the ground, trying for the triangle. Blachowitz defends well, Krylov tries body punches from the full mount. Blachowicz trying to get back on his feet and Krylov has to let his neck go. Blachowicz makes a great transition and comes into a side control, looking for the Kimura. Short elbows from the top but Krylov protects well. Blachowicz in half-guard passes to side control. Good hammer fists from Blachowicz and the round ends.

Round 2

Krylov misses with a front kick. Excellent body kick for Blachowicz but he grabs the opponent’s leg and transits to his back. Krylov almost had an ankle lock secured. Blachowicz returns to the side control. Great right hands by Blachowicz, Krylov is in trouble. Krylov defends his back but Blachowicz does hammer fists and breaks his guard. Great body shots and Krylov flips to protect it.

Blachowicz grabs Krylov into D’Arce choke and the fight is over! Krylov taps, great submission victory.
