Jake Shields and Mike Jackson are back at it.

Recently, Jackson responded to a post on social media from Isabella Maria DeLuca, a staunch Trump supporter and anti-vaxxer who asked men who had voted for Vice President Kamala Harris in Tuesday’s presidential election to identify themselves for “scientific research purposes.”

Jackson, who has never shied away from calling out people who look to impose their extreme political views on the nation, proudly provided an image of himself and wrote:

“I voted for Kamala Harris, you nazi lap dog.”

That caught the attention of Shields who has had a very public rivalry with Jackson after ‘The Truth’ similarly labeled the retired UFC fighter a Nazi. That resulted in an altercation at the UFC Performance Institute in 2022 that saw Shields attack Jackson before mounting him on the ground and throwing fists while a group of Shields’ buddies looked on.

“This guy challenged me to a fight so I beat his ass and made him cry,” Shields wrote on X in response to Jackson’s dig at DeLuca. “He ran and called the cops and pressed charges despite being part of the defund the police movement. This is the kinda men who vote Kamala.”

Former UFC standout Darren Till threw his support behind Shields, calling Jackson ‘the biggest piece of sh*t” in the sport.

“Of course, Mike Jackson voted for her [Kamala Harris]. Possibly the biggest piece of sh*t to ever be involved in MMA. Glad @jakeshieldsajj showed him for the absolute horrid human he is. Little Mike, go away.”

Jackson made four appearances under the UFC banner, his most well-known fight coming against WWE Superstar CM Punk at UFC 225. Jackson originally won the bout via unanimous decision, but the result was later overturned to a no contest after ‘The Truth’ tested positive for marijuana. He fought two more times inside the Octagon before exiting the promotion.

Mike Jackson Returned to the Cage Against Pat Miletich in 2023

Jackson returned to the cage in October 2023 for a grudge match with another staunch supporter of Donald Trump, Pat Miletich. At one time, Miletich and Jackson were good friends with the former training the latter for his fight with CM Punk. However, that all changed after it was revealed that Miletch was part of the mob of people that stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021

Jackson called out Miletch for his far-right views and his role in the insurrection which resulted in Miletch losing his commentary job with the LFA.

The two decided to settle things under the Caged Aggression MMA banner in Davenport, IA. While Miletich looked good in the opening round, taking Jackson down and dominating him on the mat, he ultimately quit on his stool due to exhaustion at the end of the second stanza.
