Jake Shields, a UFC veteran, and former Strikeforce middleweight champion, was scolded for starting a rumor about Jamie Foxx’s illness.

Foxx was rushed to the hospital following a medical complication on April 11 and remains in the hospital. According to recent reports, the fear is Foxx may be paralyzed and blind following a blood clot in his brain. As of right now, no word has come out as to what happened to the Hollywood actor but Shields took it as a time to claim it was from the vaccine.

“F**k everyone who tried forcing me to take this poison,” Shields wrote on Twitter.

However, Jake Shields didn’t stop at his anti-vaccine rant. He continued to express his anger towards those who support vaccination, labeling them as “cowards.” His fiery words further escalated the heated debate surrounding the issue.

“You cowards called me a grandma killer and wouldn’t allow to eat at restaurants or bars with my friends I’ll always remember and never forgive,” Shield wrote

Shields Blames the Vaccine

He also sent several other tweets about the vaccine and how more and more of these stories will start to come up.

“Could you imagine thinking doctors are smart after Covid-19 99% of them told you the vaccine was safe and effective They aren’t taught to use critical thinking or read data they are taught to trust the CDC,” Shields added.

After Jake Shields’ tweets, several people responded to it saying there has been no proof that this incident revolved around the COVID-19 vaccine. Mike Tyson also claimed Jamie Foxx – who is a friend – suffered a stroke which began this health issue, but Shields is adamant it is from the COVID vaccine, even though no proof.

As for his MMA career, Shields last fought back in October of 2018 when he suffered a TKO loss to Ray Cooper III in PFL. In his career, Shields went 4-3 and one No Contest and had fought Georges St-Pierre for the welterweight title in the main event of UFC 129. In his career, he holds notable wins over Robbie Lawler, Paul Daley, Dan Henderson, Carlos Condit, Tyron Woodley, and Demian Maia and is the former Strikeforce middleweight champ and defended the belt once.
