There are two things I don’t think anyone expected out of last nights main event: 1. for it to turn into a boxing match and 2. for Jake Shields to make GSP’s face look worse than his. Hell, why not three things, Jake shields actually landed more strikes than GSP…no one saw that coming. Jake did throw 170 more strikes than GSP in true 209 fashion though.
MMAWeekly was at the post fight press conference where Jake filled everyone in on just what happened in those 25 minutes in front of 55,000 people in the Rogers Centre (pronounced cen-truh), they recorded his explanation then uploaded the video into an editing program, where it was exported and then put on Youtube where you watch it now.
