Jake Paul has his eye on Nate Diaz.
Diaz is coming off a fourth-round submission victory over Tony Ferguson in the UFC 279 headliner this past weekend.
It was notably the last fight of his UFC contract as he stated his ambitions of taking over another sport — likely boxing — during his post-fight interview.

Paul responded quickly on social media shortly thereafter. However, any praise for Diaz was short-lived.
Jake Paul Issues Warning To Nate Diaz
Paul has long stated his desire to face Diaz in a boxing ring.
Of course, he must first get past former UFC middleweight king Anderson Silva who he faces October 29.
Should the YouTuber-turned-boxer emerge victorious in what many regard to be his toughest test yet, he is more than down to face Diaz as he issued a warning to the Stockton native.
However, his focus remains on “The Spider” for the time being.
“100 percent, I’ll slap the Stockton out of him,” Paul told reporters following his press conference with Silva on Monday (via MMA Junkie). “I’m focused on Oct. 29. I have a crazy tough opponent in front of me in Anderson Silva, so that’s my main focus.”
Diaz stated he would attend the Paul vs. Silva event and his teammate Chris Avila is notably competing on the card as well.
It will certainly be interesting to see if Diaz steps in the ring should Paul emerge victorious.
