Jake Paul wants to see something exciting from Tommy Fury in his next fight.
Fury is scheduled to take on Daniel Bocianski on April 23. Going solely off pro boxing records, this is easily Fury’s toughest test on paper. Tommy has gotten flak for facing boxers with losing records but Bocianski is 10-1. An impressive showing could go a long way in getting a lucrative fight.
Jake Paul Wants To Be Dazzled By Tommy Fury
While some may think Jake Paul would want to see Tommy Fury get his lights put out by Bocianski given their beef, it’s actually the opposite. Speaking to Donagh Corby, Paul explained why he’s actually rooting for Fury.
“Yeah, look it’s great and let’s see how he fares. This will be a cool test for him and hopefully it’s not a snoozefest like all of his fights. Hopefully, he can get a big moment or get a big KO and get some momentum going cause right now we’re just not interested in that fight just cause he doesn’t really have anything going. People only know of his name because of me.
“I’m rooting for him. Best of luck to him. Hopefully, he can get a big KO and do something that would create more excitement for a fight between us because he sucks at promoting. His brother did all the promotion, his dad did all of the promotion for the last fight. So, he’s gotta do something to get back on my radar.”
Paul and Fury were linked to a bout in late 2021 but Fury was forced to pull out. Instead, Paul had a rematch with Tyron Woodley and knocked him out in the sixth round.
"I'm rooting for @tommytntfury – I hope he gets a big KO!"
