It’s confirmed, Fedor really isn’t a fan of the UFC

Somewhere in Southern California, Fedor Emelianenko just hung up the phone for the official Strikeforce Fedor vs. Werdum conference call, but before he did, The Last Emperor made it abundantly clear that he is not a fan of the UFC. Early in the conference call, Fedor made a statement that he ‘wasn’t a fan of watching the UFC’. Before we all took that quote and ran with it like the shills Dana White claims us to be, Loretta Hunt from Sherdog asked a follow-up question to give Fedor a chance to clear up anything that was ‘lost in translation’. We were right. Fedor really is taking shots at the UFC. Here is the exact transcription from Emelianenko just minutes ago:

I’m not a fan of the UFC.”

“There’s too much negativity in the way UFC promotes their fights”

“How the fights are presented and the manner they’re presented and the actions and behaviors of a lot of the fighters in the UFC takes away from the sport.”

I guess we could all wave goodbye to that UFC dream match-up that we all have been salivating over for the past couple years. The four-letter words that will come out of Dana White’s mouth in a few days just may shatter the fabric of time and space. Oh, Fedor also enjoys fruit trays. Interesting.
