Israel Adesanya Had Quite An Expression After Witnessing Jorge Masvidal’s Flying Knee KO Of Askren

It’s in the books now that this past weekend in a highly intriguing welterweight bout Jorge Masvidal wrecked Ben Askren with the fastest knockout in the UFC history at UFC 239.

Many pros reacted on the wild ending of this bout including top middleweight contender Israel Adesanya who had quite an expression when he witnessed Masvidal’s flying knee knockout of Askren.

You can see the moment and Adesanya’s feeling while giving an interviewing to TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter backstage at UFC 239 event.

“Ghetto Jesus! Ghetto f**king Jesus. No f**king way! That’s the fastest knockout in UFC history, right? In UFC history, is it?”

Adesanya’s was quite in shock after seeing the knockout.

“The n**ga planked. He brought planking back. Wow, holy s**t. Cuban Jesus just knocked out… what, what’s his name? Wow. Cuban Jesus. Cuban Jesus!” Adesanya said.

Later, Aaron showed the footage to Masvidal who respect the appreciation. (h/t MMAMania)

”Damn, my dawg freaked out,” Masvidal said watching the video. “I know he likes that violent s**t. Damn, that’s the champ right there shouting me out. You guys are welcome, man. See, that’s another real fighter, that’s a dude that comes to hurt people. So when I get those reactions out of guys that I like their style and like that they’re actual fighters, he’s a dog, he showed that in the Gastelum fight, it means a lot to me.”

Israel Adesanya is slated to take on middleweight champion Robert Whittaker in the main headliner of UFC 243 on October 5.
