Ishida accuses Melendez of greasing

Accusing someone of greasing during a fight is the new black. Greasing goes with anything, even blue jeans. Greasing is what all the new kids are wearing. Grease is what gathers around my nose when I haven’t taken a shower in a couple of days. My nose is all about fashion. BJ Penn brought the trend to the MMA world after accusing GSP of being greased up during their last fight. Dana White somewhat agreed with BJ Penn but informed him there was nothing he could really do regarding it. It turned out to be a bum wrap for Penn but he just successfully defended his belt against Kenny Florian so I guess all of that went out the window (except the whole accusing GSP of taking steroids).

Now Mitsuhiro Ishida is pulling the greasecard against Gilbert Melendez. Both dudes just fought this weekend in the Strikeforce: Carano/Cyborg card and Melendez got the W with repeated punches in the friggin face via ground and pound. Now both guys are rocking a win against each other so hopefully we can see a rubber match (whose definition I only learned about a couple of weeks ago), hopefully this time without grease. Although it’s just a verbal complaint, it’s still a pretty large statement to make (large enough to even be in More to Love). [Source]
