Isaac Moreno had to fight through late danger at Dana White's Contender Series Week 5, but he left Las Vegas with a unanimous decision over Reginaldo Junior and a UFC contract. The win came before Quentin Pasley closed the DWCS card with a first-round elbow knockout.
All Three Judges Score The Fight 29-28
UFC.com listed the official result as Moreno defeating Junior by unanimous decision with all three judges scoring it 29-28. Moreno improved to 9-0, while Junior fell to 11-2 after three hard rounds at the Meta APEX.
UFC on Paramount+ posted the official scorecard result below.
Moreno started sharp from the southpaw stance, kicking at range and landing the cleaner counters when Junior tried to close distance. UFC.com's recap noted that Junior had to lean on his grappling after Moreno's speed and reach created problems early.
UFC on Paramount+ posted an early exchange from the fight.
Moreno Survives The Late Grappling Push
Junior found more success when he forced clinches and takedown looks, which made the decision tighter than the early striking exchanges suggested. Moreno still did enough across the full 15 minutes to stay unbeaten, joining Martin Kozak's DWCS Week 5 contract-winning result on a busy night for new UFC talent.
Junior also landed a heavy right hand in the middle of the fight, giving the judges real moments to weigh before Moreno's hand was raised.

UFC.com confirmed Moreno as one of four Week 5 contract winners, along with Pasley, Kozak, and Christian Natividad. Moreno had stepped into a DWCS lineup loaded with unbeaten fighters, and he left with the only result that mattered: three matching scorecards and a UFC deal.
